Axis Privacy & Safety

When you login to Axis, you will notice that it requests permission to access specific information about your account. Below, we explain why these permissions are needed and how they help the Axis bot and web app function correctly.

Access Your Username, Avatar, and Banner

Axis requests access to your username, avatar, and banner for:

  • Personalization: Your username and avatar are displayed in the dashboard to specify which account you are logged in as.

  • Customization Features: In situations where the bot may need to display your information, such as listing you as the owner in the Server List.

This information is only used for display and functionality purposes, and it will be automatically forgotten when you log out.

Access Your Servers

Axis also requests access to the list of servers you are a member of. This is necessary for:

  • Server-Specific Management: The Axis web app allows you to manage bot settings for servers you have permissions in. To do this, Axis needs to know which servers you’re in.

  • Quick Navigation: By accessing your server list, the dashboard can show you a list of all servers where Axis is added, or any valid servers that the bot can be invited to.

The bot only interacts with the servers it's added to. It does not make changes to any other servers, it only displays them.

Privacy and Security

Your privacy is important, and Axis ensures that all data accessed is handled privately and securely. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
