Axis Team

When you log in to the Axis web app, you might notice that it requests certain permissions to access specific information about your account. Below, we explain why these permissions are needed and how they help the Axis bot and web app function smoothly.

Access Your Username, Avatar, and Banner

Axis requests access to your username, avatar, and banner so that:

  • Personalized Experience: Your username and avatar are displayed in the web app to provide a user-specific experience. This helps identify your account visually when managing server settings.
  • Customization Features: In situations where the bot may need to display other user-specific information, this information is used.

This information is only used for display and functionality purposes, and it will be automatically forgotten upon you logging out.

Access Your Servers

Axis also requests access to the list of servers you are a member of. This is necessary because:

  • Server-Specific Management: The Axis web app allows you to manage bot settings for servers you have permissions in. To do this, Axis needs to know which servers you’re in.
  • Quick Navigation: By accessing your server list, the web app can show you a dashboard of all servers where Axis is added, or any valid servers that the bot can be invited to. This saves time and streamlines server management.

The bot only interacts with the servers you explicitly select. It does not make changes to any other servers.

Privacy and Security

Axis values your privacy and ensures that all data accessed is handled securely and is never shared with third parties.

By granting these permissions, you allow the Axis bot and web app to provide a seamless, customized, and efficient experience tailored to your needs. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to us.
