Logging in Axis helps you keep track of key server events. The logging module allows you to choose what events to log and where to send them.
Enabling Logging
- Navigate to the Logging section in the Axis dashboard (on the left hand side).
- Enable the master switch titled 'Enabled' below the 'Logging' title.
- Select a log channel where all logged actions will be sent.
- Enable logging categories based on your needs:
Logging Categories
- Moderation Logs – Tracks moderation actions like mutes, kicks, bans, and timeouts.
- Messages Logs – Logs edited and deleted messages, as well as when an invite is posted.
- Member Logs – Notifies when members join, leave, or update their profile.
- Role Logs – Tracks role creation, deletion, and updates, or when member roles are added or removed.
- Channel Logs – Logs channel creation, deletion, updates, and member joins.
- Server Logs – Records major server-wide updates.
Example Log Configuration

- If you enable Member Role Changed, it will track role assignments and removals.
