Logging in Axis helps you keep track of key server events. The logging module allows you to choose what events to log and where to send them.

Enabling Logging

  1. Navigate to the Logging section in the Axis dashboard (on the left hand side).
  2. Enable the master switch titled 'Enabled' below the 'Logging' title.
  3. Select a log channel where all logged actions will be sent.
  4. Enable logging categories based on your needs:

Logging Categories

  • Moderation Logs – Tracks moderation actions like mutes, kicks, bans, and timeouts.
  • Messages Logs – Logs edited and deleted messages, as well as when an invite is posted.
  • Member Logs – Notifies when members join, leave, or update their profile.
  • Role Logs – Tracks role creation, deletion, and updates, or when member roles are added or removed.
  • Channel Logs – Logs channel creation, deletion, updates, and member joins.
  • Server Logs – Records major server-wide updates.

Example Log Configuration

  • If you enable Message Deleted, Axis will send a log message whenever a user deletes a message.
  • If you enable Member Role Changed, it will track role assignments and removals.
