Enabling Moderation

Axis provides a global moderation toggle that allows you to quickly enable or disable all moderation features. This acts as a master switch—when turned off, all moderation commands will be disabled, and Axis won’t allow any moderation commands.

To enable moderation:

  1. Go to the Moderation section in your Axis dashboard (on the left hand side).
  2. Toggle the Enabled switch at the very top below 'Moderation' to enabled.

Available Moderation Features

Axis offers multiple moderation tools to help manage your server effectively:

  • Clean Command – Clean up (remove) a set period of message history.
  • Warning Command – Allow manual issuing of warnings that interact with our warning system.
  • Timeout Command – Temporarily restricts a user’s ability to send messages and interact.
  • Kick Command – Removes a user from the server. Options include showing usage logs, purging their messages, and sending a direct message upon kick.
  • Ban Command – Completely bans a user. You can choose to delete their past messages and notify them via DM, and you can ban a user even if they are not a user of the server via their User ID.
  • Mute Settings – Allows you to set up a mute role, restricting users from speaking in any channel.

Note that the functionality of moderation works independently of our automoderation. See more on automod here.

Additionally, you can visit our Documentation for more help with the Axis dashboard.
